Started by two brothers who share a common love for good steaks and entertainment, HooHa! Cafe’s first outlet at the former Pasir Panjang Village opened its doors in 1997 with the aim to serve The Ultimate Tenderloin Steak in an unpretentious homey setting at unbeatable value-for-money prices.

Since its inception in 1997, HooHa! Cafe has evolved into multi-concept F&B Group.


A throwback to our roots during the days at Pasir Panjang Village, our Arab Street outlet is a shophouse style cafe with a mini-bar and live music facilities on the second floor.

It is perfect for cosy intimate dining, and hosting of smaller private events.

Kartigesu Vadiveloo

Chef Karti joined the HooHa! family in 2013, bringing with him over 15 years of expertise in Italian, Western, French, Fusion, Indian & Asian Cuisine.

Certified by SHATec, Karti is a multi-award winning chef including Fruit & Vegetable carvings. He has over 15 years of experience in the kitchens starting from Four Seasons Hotel, Singapore to many chained Boutique Restaurants.

Chef Karti decided to leave behind the world of 5 star glitz and glamour to stretch his culinary creativity in the local restaurant scene. He has brought incredible variety to our menu, all whilst maintaining his high measure of taste, quality and value.

Our diners can be assured that with Chef Karti at the helm, there’s always something new and exciting around the corner.


Head Chef

Richard Lee

Chef Richard rose from humble beginnings to become one of the leading steak chefs in the region.

Since HooHa’s inception, he has slaved over a smoky hot grill preparing delicious steaks for our family of diners. His uncompromising approach has served as a major backbone for the restaurant.

A living embodiment of the old adage that practice makes perfect, he worked for years to hone his skills in grilling meat, taking pride in delivering consistency in the “doneness” of his steaks. Although his friendly, carefree and jolly demeanor belies his strict personal standards of excellence, everyone who knows our Head Chef is acutely aware of this duality.

His repertoire also includes oriental dishes which he selectively cooks for VIPs only. He has, over the years, successfully trained his assistant chefs, ensuring that his legacy will always live within the steaks our restaurants serve.

Like a culinary rockstar, he has accumulated more than 350 written testimonials. Some of his fans have eaten his steaks over 500 times and are still coming back for more.
